@PookyH Perhaps if the imperative is to have YP in school, then we need to address the elephant in the room: mainstream doesn’t fit all. Many YP & their families are traumatised by the one size fits all offer & they need therapy (literally) to recover!

@MrsSpalding Yep, totally feel the same. Ofsted threw us this week. 7wk term, had no end of term assessment data ready (understandably). Now it’s over & ok, glad it happened, but I have never been more ready for half term. Wishing your little one well ❤️‍🩹

Ofsted done & dusted…
What I learned:
- there are pleasant, human Ofsted inspectors out there
- don’t relax, even when you think you have it in the bag
- they do ask for data evidence - lots of it!
- APs almost def cannot get outstanding… looking for one now!

Very pleased it is over but also pleased with result. At no point can you relax, there is so much required, but once over, you’ll know you did everything you could! Hope it goes smoothly!
