Case in point: a gymnast competing at the highest level and performing tricks that are dangerous. If their mental health isn’t in a good place, they could become distracted, hesitant, weak or tense. & any attempt to perform could result in death, paralysis or life long injuries

Anyone that isn’t on the side of taking mental health seriously, is a danger to themselves and everyone around them. When someone has enough strength to ask for help, support or is willing to let others know that they don’t feel mentally strong- DO NOT judge, joke or ignore.

If someone doesn’t have enough strength to do it- it is imperative that as members of society, we recognize signs of any and all mental health disorders so we can step in with support. Stop minimizing mental health when our physical health RELIES on our physiological well-being.
