We took to the streets in peaceful demonstrations to express our demands and our rights. Yet the hands of treacherous terrorism reached out to kill our sons during protests whose peaceful nature we repeatedly affirmed. They have failed to understand the meaning of freedom of expression and our legitimate right to claim what is ours.

Accordingly, we declare the following:

Demonstrations across Alawite areas will not stop.

Their terrorism will not break us, nor will it deter us from continuing our path.

We will not stand down until the last terrorist leaves our areas.
