Another account breached and this one was completely on me.

My $5K 1-Step funded account with @fundingtraders has officially been marked as failed.

It started with carelessness on my side. I initially broke their overleveraging rule by using more margin than allowed on a trade.

One thing I appreciated about @fundingtraders was how clearly they handled the violation. I received a strike explaining exactly what I had done wrong rather than simply losing the account immediately.

Following that strike, my account was placed under a restriction requiring me to risk less than 1% per trade idea.

Unfortunately, when I took another trade, I completely forgot that I was trading under that restriction. I ended up risking slightly above the permitted amount, which resulted in the account being breached for Max Risk Per Trade Idea.

No complaints from me. The rules were there, the warnings were there, and ultimately it was my responsibility to follow them.

Overall, I actually had a good experience trading the account. My only disappointment is that I didn't manage to reach a payout before losing it.

Another lesson in why knowing the rules isn't enough, you have to remain conscious of them every single time you execute a trade.

Carelessness cost me this one.

Hopefully, I bounce back, return stronger, and eventually get the payout I didn't manage to secure this time.

My @atlasfunded $10k funded account is now in profit, but there's one thing left to do before moving forward and that is to complete the required profitable trading days.

At this stage, I'm not interested in forcing unnecessary trades just because I want to finish the requirement quickly.

I've already made that kind of mistake before and its one of the biggest lessons I've learned from prop firms that hitting the numbers isn't enough if you don't follow every rule attached to the account.

So the plan from here is simple:
Protect the profit.
Complete the remaining profitable trading days.
Don't force anything.
Work towards the payout.
