As we kick off Data Champions for Term 2, I’m thinking about all the wonderful people I get to see again soon and I’m excited to hear how they’ve been going in their projects. Leading change can be tricky, but having accountability buddies and a support network makes it easier.
Last Friday, BFS had a whole school Remembrance service, where students and staff gathered to pause at 11am. Students made wreaths of poppies and lay them at our specially created cenotaph, and we heard a poem read by Will, a Year 13 student.

STA recognised National Hate Crime Awareness Week with a visit from Humza Arshad OBE, who gave a speech about how hate and intolerance has impacted his life, giving students a different perspective on the impact of hate crimes and the importance of tolerance and understanding.
The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.
The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.
