Our engineering team has been testing GPT-5 in Cursor for a messy → production React refactor.
Pass 1: tool call loop + linter errors → fail.
Pass 2: added context + Q&A → found a memory leak, but still not prod-ready.
Claude or Gemini would’ve been faster 🤷
