“ You gotta be kidding me. . . ”

⠀⠀⠀Ekko registered the sudden change in Jinx immediately, the sharp intake of air, the way her hand flew to clutch at her fresh scar like she was physically trying to hold herself together. The stammering, hesitant tone in Jinx's voice cut right through Ekko's frustration.
