REaDY Summit 2020 will be held at Steveston-London Secondary in April. Richmond elementary school students will participate and learn in workshops hosted by the Richmond Green Ambassadors!

The Palmer Eco Team is excited to present the Health Care? How About Air Care? workshop. This breakout session will explore the impact of air pollution on your health and what you can do about it! It’ll be a breeze!
RHS will also be presenting: Farm Future Foods, a breakout session about the importance of sustaining food properly and how the disposal of food affects the environment. Here, you will learn about how you can make a difference on food sustainability in your local community!
RHS Green Team is proud to present Save the Waves, an interactive breakout session on Ocean Acidification! In this workshop, participants will learn about the relationship with water/oceans and how to protect them and reduce human impact. What will you do to help save the waves?
Did you know each year, 8 million tons of plastic enters our oceans?
McNair Secondary students presents Micro-Plastics: Not a Micro-problem. They will educate participating elementary students on issues with micro-plastics and how to prevent them in getting to our oceans!
What can you do to save energy, at home or in your daily lives? Saving energy can be as easy as lights off or unplugging! MacNeill and RHS will be hosting this breakout session about energy for our participating elementary students! Watt Are You Waiting For?
SLSS presents Waste No Time! Students will be actively engaged as they explore how waste is dealt with. They will also learn how to manage the amount of waste they output and create their very own flexible packaging bin. It’s up to the next generation to save the planet.
T-4 weeks until 2019 REaDY Summit! Invitations to register have been sent to Richmond elementary schools. 2019 REaDY Summit will be only open to selected Richmond elementary students to continue our "by youth and for youth" vision. Updates on youth-led breakout sessions to come!
