@andykirkland71 @planetbyde Yup - it was a kist hoard. My map of the kists shows one to the south of Lauder and the clue for it is "a soldier once rested here and left his feet". No wonder we didn't find many of them if we kept seeing the sculptures without realising what they were. Doh!

@andykirkland71 @planetbyde Yeah, we collected the kists as we walked the trail. Except we weren't very good at finding them! Perhaps we were so bad that we saw these boots and didn't realise they were where a kist was stashed. Where were the boots exactly?
