I often post this as a reminder that Kids might come to school carrying all sorts - weighed down by worry fear sadness anxiety etc - of course same is true of adults coming into school - now is the time to prioritise staff wellbeing so adults can support kids #Wellbeing
When you minimize a child’s feelings by saying ‘I don’t know why you’re so worried about that’, not only does that not help your kid feel any less worried, it actually amplifies the worries because the child is now thinking ‘I’m not only still worried, but I’m also alone in it’.
**UPDATE**
CRS, looking for Noah Donohoe are going door to door asking to search your garden. They are not the police, they don’t care if you have 6 stolen trafffic cones in a shed, please give them access to search. Nothing is worth hindering this search @BelTel
