This morning farmers from North Carolina arrived to purchase bred Jersey heifers. We were the 1st stop. It's sad to see the animals go but necessary for the farm. This year hay is in short supply. And pasture can be a gamble too by late July. #Vermont #familyfarms #farm24Vt
