No. 9 Rumson-Fair Haven boys lacrosse survived a late scare on Thursday as the Bulldogs defeated No. 16 Christian Brothers 9-8 to win back-to-back Shore Conference Tournament titles. Up 9-5 late in the 4th, the Colts stormed back to make it 9-8 in the final seconds. Then, off the ensuing faceoff, Peter Kessler made a championship-clinching save! Blake Ahmann led the team’s scoring with a hat trick, followed by Teddy Whitehouse with two goals.
