@mrbwteach Always ask pupils to read their work the day after writing - and to read aloud if possible! Makes a big difference.

@mrwbw Speaking from my days (long ago) training to be an educator, I remember hearing that shared reading is beneficial only if the quality and fluency is high. Of course there are benefits for individuals with reading aloud but fluent reading helpful for groups.
