They have been calling countless people to canvas support , they announced those WILLING. I know a few women who basically said they didnt want to be seen. I hope you will volunteer and participate as a respected woman. Often times it’s not misogyny. It’s women refusing to participate.

One of my favorite people was honored over the weekend for his activism by Public Policy And Research Institute Of Zimbabwe (PPRIZ). Let me tell you, if you want to see genuine and selfless activism walking on two legs, please look for Mbuso Fuzwayo.

Thande and l always crack up whenever we say he taught us to care for no money when doing this work. Activism work will be done with or without money.

He always reminds me to be an activist and not a worker in this space. "MaTshu, ama workers ayahlupha, sebebulele iactivism". I am so glad that l have him around to learn what activism is. He deserves this recognition and more.

Born in 2003, Paige is a championship swimmer who has represented Zimbabwe with distinction in international swimming championships where she has won multiple medals and accolades in the region and on the continent.

She joined Highlands Swimming Club at the Innovate High Performance Centre under veteran coach, Malcolm Cocks in 2016.

She was a shining star in schools’ swimming where she represented Hellenic and Chisipite respectively. She later attended the University of Sterling where her star continues to rise.
