Everything not affiliated with the CPF is now irrelevant. I can’t speak to the economics but if it is a breakeven or a slight gain for the school it is still pointless. You risk injury, kids prepping for the draft aren’t going to play nor are kids that are going to go into the transfer portal. So your team most likely will not even resemble the one you shielded during the regular season. I think more teams should opt out of pointless bowls.
