@RealMerrit@BFBulletin Battlefield 6 literally OUTSOLD Black Ops 6 it was the highest selling game of 2025. They embarrassed tf out of Activision. NFS has been dead and cheeks for nearly ten years
@Gypsy_Harlow@2006Sable Confused me with the y2k baby wording but yes mostly true depending on how and were you grew up. Not everyone had a 360 or PS3 initially (especially PS3). Early and mid Gen Z grew spent early years with a mix of newer and older things
@Gypsy_Harlow@2006Sable Gen Z started in 1997, ended in 2012. You’re firmly Gen Z. Yes there’s a noticeable divide between what someone born in 1997 grew up with vs someone in 2012 but that’s true for every generation.
@zeusman223@DickMasterson16@DustinWalper Soviet contribution to space exploration must be respected, first satellite, first man in space, actual landers on Venus. Soviets led the space race up until 1965ish, only then did the US comeback eventually leading to Apollo 11
@Tea_Manuel@Tiduti@T0TALfps@DRUNKKZ3 It's automatically zeroed at 100m now so if the target is closer than that and you just fire based on the sight without adjusting you're going to overshoot. It's stupid but it is what it us
@M11122233344454@cam_doode@xFleXy_ that didn't matter when the game didn't work for an entire year, no other Battlefield game actually had lawsuits filed against EA, not even 2042
@rowni_ahaha I don't know what people expected. It's operations without what actually made operations interesting, the historical aspect. You can't have BF1 operations with a fake, fictional conflict.
@DiversityChris@Standingfast85 DICE addressed every complaint about 2042 in BF6. "The maps are too big and open" now the same battledads complain about not having. "breathing room" in BF6
@DiversityChris@Standingfast85 Lol yet the game came out and sold 4 million in its first week, second best in the series (at the time). Only the players with a brain knew what was coming (which is a rarity in the bf community sadly)
@DiversityChris@Standingfast85 Cope, BF4, BF3, BC2 all had the same player retention drops. Battlefield has NEVER been able to maintain a massive playerbase.
@DiversityChris@Standingfast85 Battlefield has NEVER been able to retain a massive playerbase regardless of the game, every prior title had similar player count dropoffs after launch, BF6s looks more severe because it had the most players for the series
@DiversityChris@Standingfast85 Have you not noticed the tourists that make every game blow up only to leave a week later? Has been an ongoing cycle since elden ring at least. 2042s peak on steam was like 100k even if all those players returned for 6 it would only account for 14% of BF6s peak PC playerbase
@DiversityChris@Standingfast85 The majority of the peak playerbase were not Battlefield players, just people who bought into the hype and dipped after the hype wore off, just like with every other game of the month these days
@DiversityChris@Standingfast85 Battlefield 6 is ABSOLUTELY a return to form for the series, some aspects need to be and are being addressed but saying it's even remotely like cod is laughable
