If there's ever a reason you can't rack your slide because one of your hands or arms gets disabled in an attack, you should still be able to defend yourself.

Compared to 34.7 firearms/100 people.
But on principle that shouldn't really matter. It's a moral issue, not a number or guns issue. Say you had a non-violent utopia, you could add a billion guns and it wouldn't raise the violence rate.
