Back in La Habra, in the day, the big rock band was Eulogy (guitarist Rusty Anderson is lead guitarist in McCartney’s band).

Eddie Van Halen passed away on October 6, 2020, at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California. His son, Wolfgang Van Halen, broke the news to the world that morning, announcing that his father had lost his battle with cancer. Edward Lodewijk Van Halen was born on January 26, 1955, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, before emigrating with his family to Pasadena, California, in 1962. Alongside his brother Alex, bassist Michael Anthony, and vocalist David Lee Roth, he redefined the possibilities of electric guitar with the release of Van Halen’s self-titled debut in 1978. Through masterworks like Eruption, his pioneer two-handed tapping technique, custom Frankenstein guitar builds, and rhythmic swing, Eddie fundamentally transformed modern rock music. His final live performance with Van Halen took place on October 4, 2015, at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, closing out a historic career that reshaped guitar playing forever.

The Athletic wrote a disgusting hit piece urging the Indiana Fever to not re-sign Sophie Cunningham calling her a distraction. Sophie had hundreds of fans lining up for autographs and pictures after a Fever Wings game in Dallas. America stands with Sophie.
@WLOS_13 A sad situation. And an embarrassment that never should have happened.
Time for HVL City Council to pump the brakes on post Covid development velocity (particularly “affordable housing”).
Hendo CC: “Don’t be Califoolish.”
REMEMBERING EDDIE VAN HALEN:
Working as a truck driver from LA to Fresno, I stayed in the Fresno Hilton in Sept 1982. Unbeknownst to me, #VanHalen were also staying at the Hilton. At the last minute, I was invited to see them at Selland Arena (Diver Down Tour)—but had a conflict!
