@KeefLynch@Manson42097964 Sober Keith is definitely better. My only counter to your comment, with no disrespect meant, is that you’re feeling like you can conquer the world right now. Adrenaline. Demons creep up. Be careful.
@KeefLynch@Manson42097964 I know you feel bad and remorseful, I just wouldn’t shut the door on professional help a day later because of the way you feel. The guilt in any addiction lessens with time, temptation increases, it happens and it’s back to square one.
@KeefLynch@Manson42097964 Yeah, some meds can actually cause negative results. They can bring out negative qualities, increase depression, anger... you name it.
@Manson42097964@KeefLynch Yep. And not to make an alcohol analogy, but often times it takes the right cocktail. The difference the right mix makes is crucial.
@KeefLynch@Manson42097964 I saw your RT earlier, “toxicity is cancer of the mind.” True, but a more aggressive cancer of the mind are mental illnesses. You have to get treatment of some kind, or it will spread and worsen.
@KeefLynch@Manson42097964 Then find new meds. There’s tons, and people respond differently. The broken leg analogy is perfect. Cast it up or keep hurting.
