This Ramadan, in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, Rohingya families who survived genocide face their fast with almost nothing. Many will break it with only water, rice, or salt. Ramadan teaches patience, but it also calls us to stand with those who suffer and ensure no one is forgotten.
