I Came across a statistic a few days ago that only 4% of early practitioners are male…. Why? This is an amazing profession. How do we get more men involved? How can we get the visibility in early years… 💭 💭

I too have been interested in this for a number of years. I do have to say I’ve seen positive change since I qualified in 2011 but maybe/probably not enough.
There are so many parts to this topic.

Breaking down stereotypical views on careers is important. Start in school and encourage children and young people that their career isn’t focused around gender. 🤩
