One of many certificates received this term which was jam packed with competition success in the @languagenut@GCHQ and poésieae competitions, as well as the first round in the @ChallonersHigh MFL spelling bee for Y7. All our linguists and teachers are ready for a rest now!
Who’d have thought that your school French, German or Spanish would lead to unique opportunities, enhanced experiences and broader perspectives? Those vocab lists, set phrases and role play prompts open doors. Languages exceed your expectations and take you to new destinations.
A fantastic day @goetheinstitut for Y9 Germanists. A reminder about why Deutsch macht Spaß, followed by a workshop learning about and designing our own German graffiti, a library scavenger hunt, and then watching the film 'Alamanya Willkommen in Deutschland'.
L6 was a hive of linguistic problem solving today at break and lunch as two fab Y9 teams got to grips with the challenges. Favourite quote of the competition so far "well this lunch I've learnt some Spanish, some Japanese and some Italian with the challenges"
