A loss on the final day by 15 runs on DLS against Colchester does not affect our final position as Festival winners 2025 for the first time since 2016. Today was the final game for the 5 U6th Nice, Wintrip, Rajiv, Singh and Woods.

An early finish today after rolling Worcester has guaranteed that we have won festival for the first time since 2016. We bowled Worcester out for 58 with contributions from all the bowlers before chasing it down for the loss of only 3 wickets. 👇

A nervy second innings followed before eventually winning by 11 runs. With Nice picking up 3 wickets in the process.

3 In a row!!!! A tight win against High Wycombe keeps us in pole position going into the last 2 days. Batting first there was an exceptional display of soft dismissals which carried throughout our innings before eventually reaching 159 all out, Nice top scoring with 59. 👇

A fast scoring start was met with an impressive collapse from 100-2 to 105-6 and a late rally led to us eventually getting over the line and winning by 13 runs by DLS. Tomorrow we face fellow unbeaten side High Wycombe.

A win on day 2 against Guildford puts us at the top of the table in a rain affected game. Bowling first on another “northern wicket” at Douthwaite Alexander was again the pick of the bowlers with a 4fer as we restricted them to 197-9. 👇

at an astoundingly low run rate prior to an impressive 4 wickets in 5 balls collapse at the end. Alexander (again) was the pick of the bowlers picking up 5 wickets with Nice and Sahadevan chipping in with 2 a piece.

An Opening day win for us against the defending champions Lancaster in a low scoring thriller. Batting first we set a modest total of 156 with Alexander top scoring with 46 on a questionable pitch. In reply Lancaster set about blocking out for an unachievable draw. ⬇️

Final day ends in a t20 defeat against Worcester following a poor performance overall which brings festival 2024 to a close. Final game in an RGS shirt for Olly D who is the only departure this year.

After a tough football match against Colchester last night (which we won of course) both the top and middle order had another rest day before the tail wagged getting us to 160. Tomorrow weather allowing we have our final game against Worcester.

Fourth day ended in defeat by 85 runs against Lancaster following a strong showing from the tail end. The lads were put in to bowl first after the skipper lost his first toss of the week, a decent start was eroded by the Lancaster middle order as they got 247-7 from their 50. 👇

However another day another collapse as we were 205-3 before losing the last 7 wickets for 17 runs (once again outdoing Colchester). Before a chanceless 95* from the Guildford skipper seeing them home.

Third day ends in defeat by 1 wicket with 3 balls remaining. However this did not stop the skipper from showing impressive coin tossing skills maintaining his 100% record. Batting first the lads set a competitive 222 from our 50, Olly Clark’s 70 being the highlight. 👇

Before a collapse that Colchester would be proud of followed leaving us 276-9. The bowlers carried on their form from yesterday bowling High Wycombe out for 179. Tomorrow our “injury stricken” team face Guildford with a chance of going top.

Second day, second win for the lads today following a day of bottling milestones.The top order fully rested from their day off yesterday thrived leaving us 260-2 from 38 overs with the skipper doing serious ton avoidance (98), Rajiv 60, Will Alexander 49.

Colchester were 125-1 from 25 overs before a catastrophic collapse to 134-7 from 30 overs before eventually being bowled out for 210. Skip bottled a 5-fer. A top of the table clash against High Wycombe next up.

A win on the opening day against Colchester by 25 runs puts us near the top of the table. Batting first our top order decided to have a day off leaving us 20-3 from 9 overs, Followed by a majestic 82 from year 10 Ben Coleman as we ended up getting 235-8 from our 50. 👇

Final day and final performance from the upper sixth. A narrow defeat to Lancaster brings the festival to an end.
