⚠️❄️ The Met Office have extended weather warnings across Scotland, with a blanket YELLOW warning in place across all areas north of Stirling and Fife. An upgraded AMBER warning is in place across the Aberdeen area along the Far North line, covering Inverness to Wick.

Tomorrow, a yellow snow and/or ice warning covers the entire network, the only exception is some coastal areas along western Scotland.

We're not out of the woods yet, with some very challenging conditions forecast tonight and overnight into tomorrow. Gusty winds reaching upto 50mph could see further snow drifts pushed back onto the railway, with the potential for further disruption along affected routes.

The following routes are expected to see the worst conditions overnight:
