After seeing it 3 times, my final verdict on Dune Part Two is that it is not just one of the greatest Sequels of all time, but also, without a doubt, my favourite movie of all time.

Villeneuve gave me more than I had ever hoped for. While I don't want to speak with the authority of the dead, Villeneuve made a story so incredibly on point in its thematic exploration of Frank Herbert's universe that I think the author would have enjoyed this adaptation very much.

Everyone involved, from Hans Zimmer and his mesmerising score, to Joe Walker and his terrific editing, deliver some of their most incredible work. Greig Fraser's cinematography, however, eclipses everything. The way his images characterise the world of Dune is absolutely breathtaking and the meticulous arrangement makes every single shot look like paintings with which I would gladly cover every centimeter of my walls.
