Omg, It's been two weeks since my @PlushieDreadful came home to me!! I approached them to tell them that their work was fabulous, and how their plushies changed my life (with Alice included)🙂↕️🤌🏻 and they decided to gave me this fantastic plushie!!! I couldn't believe it! 😭✨
@americanmcgee@PlushieDreadful The only thing I envy about this is the amount of pens that she has ):
They are so cute and good to journal, the ink is so smooth and don't smear around it when I write, literally the best I ever had for my journal💛
The dark art that flowed from the equally dark and very mysterious Art Room at id has always been a thing of wonder and fear. Quake was (and is) very special ❤️
"Spare Hearts" demo coming together nicely. Depression Bun digging for resources. Inventory screen interactions. Particles. Sound effects.
As happy as I am to see this coming together - it does pain me in relation to all the effort we put into trying to get a 3rd Alice game made. And the fact that we were never allowed to put any of our efforts into a game engine. Had we been able to build a demo scene... well, who knows?
But this is where we are today. A depression bun digging buttons in the world of Plushie Dreadfuls. And I am super proud of our little team for everything they've done to build toward this point. It's been a big journey since we created and sold the first Plushie Dreadful.
This year will see us surpass 500,000 units sold (over $20 Million USD) of Plushie Dreadfuls since we started. And I have a feeling that adding a game component is going to do crazy things to that trajectory.
Keep digging, little guy! KEEP DIGGING! 💙
Working on Quake with the OG id team was among the most interesting and fun projects of my career. And that experience provided an amazing springboard into constant adventure. Full of appreciation and gratitude for the chance provided me by Carmack, Romero, and the community ❤️
