Trump says anyone running for president should take a cognitive exam because you could end being stuck with a moron for years.
“I mean, you get a guy who gets in there, he's got a good line of crap. He gets in and all of a sudden you're stuck with a man who's a moron”
The gap between what polls show voters clamoring for (lower food and gas prices, clarity on Iran, an economic vision etc) and what Trump & Co. are prioritizing (indicting Comey for seashell post, using the FCC to attack Jimmy Kimmel, score settling etc) is notable and widening.
"Hold on. We the taxpayers are going to pay companies $900 million, which is more than 6x what we spend on wind power R&D, to NOT build wind power at a time when electricity prices are spiking and we need more clean power?" - @CostaSamaras
Congrats to Congress, you did it! Fewer Americans (10%) now approve of you than think we faked the moon landing (12%).
The record high disapproval (86%) is driven by a huge shift from the GOP.
Their net approval of the GOP-held Congress is down 89 pt from last year to -56 pt!
U.K. Police Arrest Ex-Ambassador to U.S. Amid Epstein Accusations https://t.co/YhvziqyVry via @NYTimes
It’s almost like people in the Epstein files can be held accountable…
In the last few years we've seen:
- The plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer
- The Storming of the Capitol and pipe bombs left at the RNC and DNC
- The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi
- Multiple assassination attempts against Trump
- The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife
- Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson
- The assassination of Charlie Kirk
Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all.
The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.
Congress has secretly paid out more than $17 million of your money to quietly settle charges of harassment (sexual and other forms) in Congressional offices.
Don’t you think we should release the names of the Representatives? I do.
