Our children have started to attend the Key Stage One celebration assembly! The Pupils of the Week received their certificates in front of their parents. They are so Year 1 ready! 🎉

💻 ONLINE SAFETY DAY 💻 For Online Safety Day, Reception took part in a lesson that taught them all about how to keep safe online. By the end of the afternoon, the children were able to talk about how to keep themselves safe independently.

Planting and Growing has been a fantastic topic this term 🪴 🌱 we have learnt so many new vocabulary words and can act out the process of how plants grow. We can’t wait to see our sunflowers 🌻 develop next half term!

Planting 🪴 with Mr Rogers! This term the children are learning about growing and seasonal changes. Today, we planted our own sunflowers and discussed the process to do so! We will now watch these grow over the next few weeks and then plant them in our forest school.

Reception Class loved learning all about Shrove Tuesday and Lent, and of course, eating pancakes!

Our first Forest School experience! The children had their first FS adventure today and it was amazing! They found outdoor treasures and played imagination games. We are so excited to have weekly sessions after half term!

Our new reading scheme! Make sure to write in your child’s planner when they read so that they can move their animal and be in with a chance of winning a story! 📚

DT DAY! 🥖
For DT day we learnt all about where bread comes from, how it is made and the process that goes on behind the scenes! This linked to our Literacy text, ‘The Little Red Hen’. We got to make our own bread and eat it with butter. It was delicious!

Santa arrived on his sleigh this morning and we went to see him in the outdoor classroom! All of the children received a story from Santa. It was magical ⭐️

In our theme lessons we made saltdough decorations by mixing ingredients and then cutting out our Christmas shape. We then decorated our saltdough and placed them onto our class tree 🌲
