A Jetstar Airbus A320 preparing to depart Sydney Airport for the Gold Coast almost collided with a Qatar Airways Boeing 777 at 7am on Sunday.

The Jetstar pilot was forced to brake suddenly to avoid a collision, injuring a Jetstar crew member who received medical attention at the scene.

The Qatar Airways Boeing 777, which was not carrying any passengers, was being towed by an aircraft tug at the time of the incident.

A Jetstar spokesperson said their aircraft was following instructions from air traffic controllers when the pilots were forced to brake firmly as another aircraft came into "close proximity".

"We have commenced an investigation into the incident," the spokesperson said.

Clasificando mi archivo personal me he encontrado con estas imágenes. El 25 de diciembre de 2024, el vuelo 8243 de Azerbaijan Airlines, un Embraer E190, que cubría la ruta entre Bakú y Grozni con 67 personas a bordo, fue alcanzado por un sistema de defensa aérea ruso.

Con el avión gravemente dañado, los sistemas hidráulicos afectados y un control muy limitado, los pilotos consiguieron mantenerlo en vuelo, cruzar el mar Caspio y llevarlo hasta las proximidades de Aktau, en Kazajistán.

El avión terminó impactando contra el terreno, pero 29 personas sobrevivieron. Los dos pilotos, no. Su pericia, su serenidad y su empeño por mantener el avión en vuelo hasta el último instante salvaron decenas de vidas. Merecen ser recordados.
