Holy Week invites us to walk with Christ through love, suffering and silence. In John 13, Jesus demonstrated servant leadership by washing his disciples' feet & instructed his disciples to do the same for one another.

ADVOCACY ALERT! Senate Bill 1209 - extends the eviction timeline by excluding Sundays and holidays. @senatorkirt has filed for reconsideration. We believe this legislation is critical for families & landlords. Please reach out to your State Senator at https://t.co/v9JSiGtX1x
Unplanned! At the welcome reception for Josh, both he and Jeff were twins! Great minds!

Today's scripture reading for Fast A Meal is from 2 Corinthians. We are Christ's ambassadors. The best part of this scripture "God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." How will you be an ambassador of Christ today?

On our best days, we can feel like we are at the top of the mountain with the best of views. On our worst days when things aren't going right and we struggle, we can feel like we are in the lowest of valleys with no way up.
The God on the mountain is the same God in the valley!
Both of our food pantry locations are OPEN today!! Our staff is looking forward to seeing our neighbors who come in. Be careful walking particularly in our main parking lot, while it was plowed, there are still little patches of ice.
UPDATE - Thursday, January 29th. Once again we will be opening the food pantry at our south location in the Asbury Development Center, however our food pantry at our main offices on Charles Page Blvd will remain closed.

Jesus begins His ministry in Galilee, where struggle and uncertainty were real. With the words “Come, follow me,” Jesus calls us as we are and invites us into God’s work. At Restore Hope, we see this every day: God meets us where we are and brings hope near.

Hope starts not with self-improvement but by fixing our eyes on the One who removes sin and
restores the world. Hear Jesus’ invitation: Come and see. Spend time with him and let his love
transform you. #Hope#RestoreHope#WednesdayintheWord
Jesus is baptized by John, not for purification but to align with us. Before Jesus does anything, the Father affirms, “This is my Son, whom I love.” Jesus is beloved for who he is, not what he has done. #Hope#RestoreHope#WednesdayintheWord
