Britney reportedly turned down all interviews, including Good Morning America, to promote her forthcoming book, 'The Woman In Me.' Her decision to share her story how she sees fit has apparently "angered" the publishers.

A source tells The Express: "[Britney has] had some terrible media experiences and she’s wary of lights and cameras in her face to the point that she’s scared she might say or do something that would freak everybody out."

Memoir execs want her to promote the book so they can generate more sales.

Here's the thing... Britney has been very open about not wanting to give interviews, as well as her stance with how the media portrays her. She's letting the book do the talking. So, if the report is true that the publisher execs are mad because Britney is choosing how her own story is told, than they can kick rocks 🙃.

Last year, Britney said she's turned down a bunch of lucrative opportunities. "I have offers to interview with Oprah and so many people, lots and lots of money, but it’s insane," she said. "I don’t want any of it. For me, it’s beyond a sit-down, proper interview."

She added: "I’ve always been scared of the judgment and definitely the embarrassment of the whole thing, period, and the skepticism and the cynical people and their opinions of what people would actually think."
