Sad news - Reno High grad Dan Plater died Saturday a age 60. He was a 4th round, 106th overall pick in the NFL Draft in 1982. He was Jim McMahon's favorite target at BYU in the 1980s, was picked by the Denver Broncos, although he never appeared in an NFL regular-season game.
