Now that’s what I call a lawn daisy! These is just a bedding cultivar grown from seed a couple of years ago and planted. It gets mown like any other Bellis perennis and responds in the same way - by gently spreading and flowering like mad!
Two rather different seedlings of Acer ‘White Tigress’ which suggest hybridisation somewhere along the line. Does anyone have a firm idea of what the attribution or parentage of ‘White Tigress’ is? Anyway, hoping for something pretty from this pair in due course.
You see quite a lot of cedars about like this with stiff but downward pointing branches. Could they be C.deodara hybrids? This one’s in Birkenhead Park.

Many members of the #TOPC committee gathered for one of their annual meetings at @RHSWisley on Monday and were treated to a guided tour of the brand new #Orchid house display in the #Glasshouse, which is very impressive and also contains many fascinating #Tender plants!
Some of the dahlias on trial have been picked (difficult decisions!) today, to display at the National Dahlia Society Show @RHSWisley all this week. Visitors to the show can vote for their favourite - we're excited to see which comes out on top!
