The legendary Jeffrey Long, 91, has just completed another epic fundraising challenge!

The former paratrooper walked 40 miles around his hometown of Bingley in West Yorkshire.

Over the last 15 years, he has raised more than £300,000 for Armed Forces charities. What a hero! 👏

Lt Col Pooley has been actively involved @CCF @RHSSuffolk since arriving in 2004 as Housemaster, Collingwood and later Nelson, and Biology teacher. He has been OC ARMY, gapped for OC @Aircadets, and led as Contingent 2IC or Contingent Commander @HQArmyCadets @EastAngliaRFCA

All 3 of his children were boarders @RHSSuffolk and @CCFcadets ; eldest son is commissioned @YORKS_REGT daughter is paramedic training @EastEnglandAmb youngest son #partofRHS security team, while Mrs Pooley was Nelson Housemistress and English teacher for 7 years.
