Year 13 finished final exam for Philosophy & Ethics A-Level this morning (Developments in Christian Thought - tricky theology paper!)
They have worked immensely hard and are a credit to the @RichardHale2017 tradition of effort and perseverance 📚. They deserve every success ✌️.
St. Bernadette of Lourdes died 136 years ago today. I was only teaching an A-level class about her this morning. This thread is worth a read to find out more. RIP ✝️
A VERY long shot…but if anyone was on flight BA177 from Heathrow to JFK yesterday (Tues 4 April) at 1.10pm and landing at 3.30pm and found this little fella, there’s a distraught little boy who would love to be reunited with him. Get in touch if you can help. Thanks
Today is Saint Patrick’s Day. Patrick is the patron saint and protector of #Ireland. Legend has it that he was kidnapped by pirates as a boy! Later, while introducing #christianity he used a shamrock clover to explain the three parts of the Holy Trinity. #StPatrick☘️ #PatronSaint
@JaneSartin@PresdalesSchool A very kind thing to give up your time to do. It makes a massive difference to school students when visitors with actual current experience in industry and business can help them visualise and develop their career aspirations in such a realistic way.
It was nice to be back at @PresdalesSchool (still very familiar as a former pupil!) to do mock interviews with pupils this morning. Particularly good to hear how much they’re getting out of taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
Today is International Women’s Day. Time to take a moment to reflect and say thank you to the amazing women, who work so hard, do so much good, inspire, love and make the world a better place. Carry on being you - you are amazing. (📷google doodle) #IWD2023
If you enjoyed #WorldBookDay2023 you’ll enjoy a visit to @HertfordMuseum shop: A treasure cave of bargains sharing the history, legends & stories of our area. Students should always feel free to visit and entry is free! If you haven’t been yet you are missing out.. #Hertford 📚
Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus! 🏴 Happy St. David’s Day! Many believe that patron saints are the guardians & protectors over somewhere or something. St. David is the Patron Saint of Wales. Welsh people around the world celebrate by wearing emblems like a daffodil or leak.🌼#StDavidsDay🏴
Do you enjoy a quiz? 12DCH form definitely enjoyed these this morning. Try your hand at some of these - you might find out something truly inspiring: https://t.co/R0e9JySpRI
