@DrDiGiorgio Hopefully there will be talent going into medicine, providing there is still respect for the profession. But you can't fight the laws of Economics, losing the brightest and the best
@DrDiGiorgio Patients were sent to me for specialty evaluation and I dictated a good note that the referring doctors utilized when the patient came back to them. Now I have to figure out where to put my evaluation into pages of garbage EMR consult note.
And getting a diagnosis with MRI can take From 5 months to over a year. That would be considered Delay in diagnosis, which is malpractice in the United States.
Imagine getting a new cancer diagnosis and being told you can’t even start treatment for two months.
I can’t even imagine the agony in waiting
That’s what happens in the UK
It turns out calling healthcare a “right” doesn’t do much if you can’t actually treat cancer patients.
@BillWiIdin What happens when she turns 45 and is not attractive, and everybody else is on the only fans. And they're not really looking for Cash Register workers at Walmart because computers are scanning the checkouts.
@BillWiIdin Because a young attractive woman can support herself and make more money with an Onlyfans account. Providing she's young and attractive and the market doesn't get saturated. Women don't need men anymore because they can sell their bodies on the Internet now.
@DrDiGiorgio@notaproviderMD NYU Langone is drawing students who would have gone to Columbia Cornell or Einstein, becoming more competitive and higher ranking. Probably produce more dermatologists and plastic surgeons,. Free tuition creates competitive imbalance unless all schools are free.
@DrDiGiorgio The Debt of medical school is not just in dollars but in years of additional education, including working nights and weekends on call delaying starting work for seven or more years.
@9Sling@DrDiGiorgio Good luck if you're an average Medicare patient in your 80s, don't expect a doctor to stay up all night long managing your pneumonia. The elderly with significant problems tend to be written off, almost like a triage.
@9Sling@DrDiGiorgio Talk to real doctors who work for Kaiser or nyu Langone with patient quotas of 50 to 70 per day. They do the best they can, but certainly cannot provide the quality of care if they had a much lower patient volume.
@Tall_Thomas_@DrDiGiorgio Forced labor, don't think so. The wealthy will have access to the best surgeons whereas everybody else will have to wait and receive marginal quality care, basic law of economics. Better hope you don't get sick if you can't pay for it.
@DrDiGiorgio With government health care, as in the former Soviet Union, if you're a celebrity or a professional athlete connections will get you priority treatment.
The average English citizan would likely have been sent home to wait 4 months for a visit to have their nose set.
@alphafox What about finding a man and having some babies, and whatever you got that degree in will make it for them having an educated mom. What was your degree in by the way?
@RedDogT3 I bought May 1st 500 puts two days earlier, watched them go down then up. Setups like that occur once in a decade except for meme stocks or penny stocks, right? Once orderly waterfall started could have been buying puts down to 300. Good call.
@RedDogT3 How did we not trade all through this this once in a lifetime classic textbook short squeeze not seen since Volkswagen. A novice could have followed the pattern.
Last week Avis rent a car Ticker symbol #CAR Had perhaps the most textbook short squeeze and blow off top since Volkswagen. Monday up 20% Tuesday iv Near 3.00 Wednesday parabolic blow off and then waterfall down to 200. Did you miss it?
