@SurfThrash As I’ve gotten older (51 now), it’s gotten easier… there’s definitely bands that I go back to the well on more and more:
1)Fugazi
2)Miles Davis (70-76)
3)New Order
4)Frank Zappa
5/6)Gentle Giant/Tortoise (they can push each other in and out of 5th and 6th place)
@SurfThrash I’ll add a few that were go-to’s for me; Vermiform, Gravity, Ebullition, Vinyl Communications, Lookout, Allied Recordings, Council Records, and Teenbeat
@SurfThrash Got to see them a few times in Detroit waaaaaaaay back when. The shows around Tinnitus/Bastards were a semi-religious experience. Fireside… Fireside was always magical.
@fievelisglauque The Ypsilanti, Michigan gig at Dreamland Theater... the flyer you posted says July 5th, but your website says August 5th, and the venue doesn't have either listed. Cunfuzzled.
@RantinReview It’s been a hard no for me on their product for quite a while. Year after year, any good that they do is vastly outweighed by the true heinousness of their actions. Your old video on the Fed’s Saudi deal should be required watching for any rasslin fan.
@sdgrumbine@FindingHolm@briebriejoy 100% We don’t have price controls and aggressive anti-gouging laws that would stop capitalistic tendencies. Costs of goods/services will increase at the rate of UBI. A jobs guarantee and increased public safety nets would be more beneficial and effective than UBI.
@ofthedead209 All of the programs/plans that Trump and his cronies have been announcing the last few days have been tinged with snitching being a crucial part of the operation. And, yes, that can be weaponized to harm folks… really dangerous and disgusting stuff.
CNN analyst says Democrats should have listened to Bernie Sanders when he said the focus should be “on bread and butter issues.”
“A lot of people attacked him for that, saying, well, are you saying cultural politics don’t matter? He wasn’t saying that.”
