hey artist oomfs! before you post your art on twitter, please do this:

1) choose your photo and click on it, then click the three dots that say “More”

2) click on “Content settings”

3) TURN OFF “Allow modifications by Grok”. this setting is automatically turned on, and allows people to use your image in Grok.

turning it off will at least stop people from @‘ing grok in the replies/asking grok to edit ur images.

it’s frustrating when i see people say that they use genai for art simply because they can’t afford it or they “can’t” do it themselves

you CAN do it. even if it’s terribly. pick up that pencil and draw something. work at it until you can.

we’re all allowing it to let us become slaves to instant gratification rather than WORKING for it, like we’ve done for generations before.

if you cannot have it, work for it. if you don’t want to work for it, then you cannot have it

“why is it wrong” it steals art from actual artists and is killing our environment. it’s ruining your brain slowly. it’s changing how you think and how you work for things.

ai has no place in our day to day lives. it takes away what makes the human experience because people start using it to vent, to make art, to think— these are all things we used to do in communities before ai

let ur art be shit. let ur writing be shit. let urself scroll thru google for 10 mins looking for a recipe. talk to ur friends or a therapist about ur emotions or journal them down.
