Omni Development has officially broken ground on the Omni Newark Apartments—bringing 52 new affordable homes to Providence’s Valley neighborhood.

On Friday we joined Lonsdale Memorial Holdings and Valley Affordable Housing Corp to celebrate the Lonsdale Memorial Lofts, a historic school turned into 26 affordable homes at 80% AMI.

This project was funded by ARP, BHRI, Fed. Historic Tax Credits, the MI Program and more.

The building, previously known as the Lincoln Memorial School and later used as school district office space, has been converted into 26 new affordable apartments known as the Lonsdale Memorial Lofts.
