Rep. Tanzi (@tanzister) and Sen. Valverde (@bridget4ri) joined the Rhode Island Parenting Information Network (RIPIN) for the release of their new report on Preschool Special Education.
The report highlights legislation that would extend Early Intervention services until the fall after a child turns three, helping more children with developmental delays receive crucial support before starting kindergarten.
@tanzister and @bridget4ri will be joined by advocates and parents with the Rhode Island Parent Information Network (RIPIN) Thursday to call for the passage of legislation to extend the period of eligibility for early intervention programs for infants with disabilities.
The event is scheduled Thursday April 3 at 3 p.m. in the State House Library on the second floor of the State House. The event will live streamed by @RICapitolTV at https://t.co/E4zazhYNpL, where a recording will be available to view on demand.
