#RISheriffs successfully conducted an agility test on Saturday, kicking off Phase 1 of the 2026-2 Academy process. Those who passed the agility assessment will advance to the next phase: the written examination. Best wishes to those continuing in the selection process.

#RISheriffs were honored to promote Matthew Kuligowski to Sergeant today. Sgt. Kuligowski is a 12-year Division member. He holds an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Roger Williams University. He is a Field Training Officer, Range Safety Officer, and Honor Guard Member.
