Thrilled to share our paper in Small! We created dynamic DNA networks synthesized and assembled by two classes of biomolecular machines. Grateful to co-lead this work with @activematterKU. Congratulations Afroze, @RJANano & all contributors! https://t.co/RBCOK3Kv6f
Our new paper is out in @ACS_SynBio! Congrats to Mihane for leading this work. We systematically mapped the parameter space of RCA-based DNA hydrogels, identifying key conditions for robust gel formation and color-selective aptamer variants. https://t.co/8HGYQnr8bX
We are thrilled to announce the schedule and venue for BIOMOD 2026!
The jamboree will be held at Campus Querétaro, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico, on Nov. 20-22. 🇲🇽 Further details will be shared on April 15 at https://t.co/S4kZl6SNR0.
My research article "Programmed Fabrication of Vesicle-Based Prototissue Fibers with Modular Functionalities (Adv. Sci. 16/2025)" has been selected as an Inside Back Cover!
Please see the beautiful grafical abstract!

Our latest work on multicompartment materials is online! We used lipid-hybrid membranes with controllable spatial arrangements of chemical microenvironments for the triggered and programmed release of encapsulants. Big thanks to @SMNomura#biomaterials https://t.co/pqHlr8O0Mh
Here's our latest research on using menthyl acetate as a non-persistent surface active agent for powering Marangoni motors. A competitor to camphor, but in liquid form it's easier to handle and manipulate.

I'm deep in grant writing now and the strangest thing has happened. I'm kind of enjoying it. Drafting, developing and polishing your visions for projects is quite rewarding and sparks whole new ideas.
Spinach microsphere gels, containing sodium alginate and calcium ions, encapsulate photosynthetic components, generating ATP through photosynthesis. This sustainable energy source powers the movement of microtubules by the kinesin motor, demonstrating localized ATP generation.
An honour to be invited to talk at the new division of Colloid and Surface Symposium at Chemical Society of Japan 2024. Thank you Prof. Fujii and Prof. Murakami.
