@swinburne_mark Did wonder if maybe something like that was discussed with Barca for Gordon - they can have Gordon but let Rashford go back so we can strike a deal
Not sure he's what we need but I guess we'll see
Even at international level, I think you're kind and give this as a dead ball.
Given it pitched off the cut strip, it would be a no ball at domestic level. Not sure why it would be different at this level but it was seemingly given as a wide

Hmm, ICC Womens T20I regs also qualify this as a no ball. No ball always takes precedence over a wide so very curious that this was given wide (unless @BBCSport were mistaken, of course)

Imagine Verhoeven actually said he was "fully *immersed* in the world of boxing" but why would the basics of language be important for journalism?

@GianfrancoShoIa BBC keep saying pretty much top half of a certain set of results taken which seem very unlikely.
We need CL for the money, but we've seen this year we don't have the squad for Europe as well.
Professional footballers are apparently too stupid to understand, after it's been highlighted twice, that if you pull a player's hair you should expect a red card.
"Should we change the rule?" Absolutely not. Ridiculous as it may seem it's consistent.

@ToonIanB Mehrdad and Rafa up in the directors box
The saudis may be hesitant to upset anyone by even suggesting bending the rules, but the last thing we need is to be the next American hedge fund money vehicle.
Were the conditions just ideal? From long being thought not possible, to 2 runners managing it on the same day.
Sneaking suspicion there'll be an announcement in a few weeks that they've remeasured the course and it was half a mile short or something.

@ShellNUFC20062 Was a bit surprised he's gone back to Pope at this stage but Ramsdale hasn't really set the world alight.
Keeper needed in summer.
Or maybe playing one more game triggers a transfer for Ramsdale. Keep forgetting he's on loan.
@NUFCcook Is this just Howe giving him the time to relax and settle, ready to hit the ground running next season (/resting in advance of the WC)?
Perhaps we'll find out in a few weeks he's carried a knock for months and has been pushing through.
Who knows?
@NUFCcook I am confused by Woltemade - we know Howe normally gives them 6 months to settle before they get a look in, but he was thrown straight in by necessity and I thought did quite well.
Gone off the boil a bit, moved to midfield (??) and then recently overlooked.
@ItsTheEnforcer Seems odd that in all of these incidents, they're planned meticulously but the intended target(s) are fine.
Where better to do something like this than an hotel full of journalists?
All just a little bit questionable.
