@ZackScottSports Zack, thanks for your insight. How much of your “pull” was because Baez was good friends with Lindor? It felt so short sighted bc you traded a top prospect for a questionable player who happened to be close with the Mets’ star player.
@JonHeyman You are absolutely right Jon. Lindor needs to go. He’s 32 and the Mets won’t contend in the near future. Get something good for him and move on.
@EtienneCatalan #11 for sure. Too early to tell for any of the others. The problem is if you retire #8, then you fall into “if you retire #8, then you have to do 32, 3, and 25” as well. Not the case with #11.
@1NCRDB1 Aren’t you the guy who asked for #56 and got benched twice for falling asleep and being late to meetings? Mind your own business and focus on football bc you need to do better than your rookie year.
@AlbaneseLaura He should keep #8. It hasn’t been retired and 25 years is long enough to unassign it. Carter was a great Met, but his number shouldn’t be retired.
@HowieRose Let him wear #8. Mets have too many retired numbers. Love Gary Carter, but it’s time to let #8 back in circulation. It should have been let back in for Michael Conforto 10+ years ago.
@ZachCohenFB@TheGraphicGod_ Tough to say. Many want a return to the 1980-1999 uniforms. It’s cool the Giants wear their 1950s throwbacks, but the lack of blue on the road uniforms bothers me. I think they have a good thing going being consistent with their primaries and mixing 4 throwback games in.
