@ChickenParma@m_felgate Done herself no favours in defending their position. Aggressive in her responses, and showed little respect towards the jockeys opinion on their own safety. Clearly rattled, to the point where she had a crack at @m_felgate.
Right or wrong, she could have handled it better.
@betsy_com_au While I agree there should be a balance between local and internationally trained horses, I donโt think the once a year punter is particularly worried about the make up of the field.
@FanaticsTalk@centralNRL No issue with concept. It may work well once the comp gets out to 20 teams. My point was about PVLs reluctance to acknowledge any other Australian code.
@centralNRL Correct, but it is clearly being discussed off the back of AFL introducing it. PVL wouldnโt want to be seen as following a rival code though, would he.
@sjbutts@pete2me PVL trying to manufacture another Group 1. Bumping up the prize money should attract a better field, potentially giving the race a better rating which gives weight to bumping up its status.
@ReadingThePlay Sucks for Sam, particularly at this stage of the year. However, I do think there is a world where the Roosters become a better side without him.
@SuthoDan2 I donโt mind it. A big minute player, who can bring some mongrel to the pack. Obviously has a brain fade in him, but thats that nature of that style of player.
Itโs easy to be critical of their signings, but they havenโt had many favours given PNG is knocking on the door.
