Stunning recital at @BarbicanCentre by @JoyceDiDonato and @PianoCraig. Audience spellbound throughout. What a voice Ms DiDonato has, and what stage presence. A highlight of London’s cultural year (the only other thing to come near it is @AnythingGUK, also at @BarbicanCentre!).

Wonderful @MichaelFeinstei concert at @cadoganhall y’day. Every song a winner. As he said, #theGreatAmericanSongbook is constantly evolving. His rendition of ‘The Time Has Come’ by Marshall Barer was particularly stunning. Lovely tribute too to Leslie Bricusse. Fab evening!

Saw #OneManTwoGuvnors at @TorchTheatre last night. It’s hilarious. @Christian2178 is brilliant, as are the rest of the cast. Go and see it. You will leave the theatre happier than when you went in!

Saw @ShidatheMusical at @thevaultsuk tonight. Written and performed by @JBayardelle, who is wonderful, it’s a memorable and moving 75 minutes or so of musical theatre. Do go and see it.

Wow! Absolutely stunning @pizzajazzclub cabaret performance by @annhcallaway at @pizzapheasantry earlier. Capacity audience, me included, loved it. Highlights included fab renditions of ‘Over the Rainbow’, ‘I Gaze in His Eyes’ and (encore) ‘Old Friend’ (Cryer/Ford). Wonderful!

The concert of Bach motets at @wigmore_hall by @VLuminis was simply stunning. Impeccable diction, clarity, precision and colour were the features of a wonderful performance. The encore, a funeral aria by #JohannSchelle that apparently inspired Bach, was ravishing. A fab evening
