Speaker Mike Jonson has the authority to REFUSE to seat Representatives from California.

“So, here's my basic idea: Mike Johnson in the House when it comes time to actually seat the representatives from California—any representative who wasn't ahead on election day, you don't even provisionally seat them. And you refer to them the committee that evaluates these things… And they have to show up and prove that they've won legitimately. And if they can't do that, then they don't get sat and California can go back and do a special election again."

The silly community note is willfully misleading. Yes, Speaker Johnson doesn't do this unilaterally. But he has authority to call a full House vote. And one of the constitutional qualifications of a House member is being "duly elected" which you aren't if the election is rigged.

SB 73 (2025-2026 session) is a California election law signed by Governor Gavin Newsom on May 27, 2026, as emergency legislation. It took effect immediately ( one week before the LA and Governor primary that was on June 2nd.
My guess is Gavin Newsom knew Pratt was going to advance, devised a mail in ballot election steal and signed a law that prohibits ALL law enforcement from looking into the election and its administration/officials.👇

Over the weekend, a coalition of 60 activist groups staged protests outside Citizens Bank branches, demanding the debanking of a government contractor over its immigration detention work.

Anyone could simply show up. Their website listed every location, complete with a protest toolkit and ready-made chants.

Smaller than the earlier ICE protests, sure. But the “nonprofit” complex is still fully operational, working overtime to sabotage the administration’s efforts to curb mass illegal immigration.
