@beffjezos@GoogleQuantumAI Underground on earth solves the problem, going to the moon creates many more. Vacuum of space and moondust are among the strongest insulators we know, so you'd have to build a vast network of thermal radiators! A low temperature environment is irrelevant if it can't absorb heat.
@TheMikeLunardi@XFreeze@elonmusk You can't other than radiation which is why this idea is retarded. Superfine moondust in a vacuum has equally near-0 thermal conductivity. People are conflating a low temperature with the ability to dissipate heat.
@Jon_S_Desoto_MS@elonmusk The thermal conductivity of superfine moon powder in a vacuum is near 0. While technically the dark side of the moon is near 0k, it has almost no capacity to conduct heat away from anything, making it a terrible cooling solution. See the ISS for an example of how difficult it is.
@VirusesImmunity@connorbgrady@bornali_27@SilvaJ_C@hmkyale I'm embarrassed on your behalf that you would publish this slop. Truly one of the worst papers I have ever seen. This is not science, it's meaningless noise run through data analysis tools just to output a lengthy report based on nothing.
@moepro@sentdefender The plane aborted landing, increased power and retracted the gear before deciding to land again with too much energy and without deployed gear so they overshot the end of the runway.
@Sliker Iran and their proxies i.e. Hamas and Hezbollah. You can argue that the Israeli government should do more to protect Palestinians, that their settler program is wrong, but in the grand scheme of things their operation to destroy Hamas is justified.
@SolidMeat @zeytunSEO @LYNESTAR_ @LSF_Forwarder@TheOmniLiberal They're doing it in the UK too. They destroy their IDs, cross on boats illegally, then pretend to be christian or gay or whatever fleeing persecution and claim asylum so they can't be automatically deported.
@TheOmniLiberal@Lauren_Southern It was the spark that kicked things off, but it's been brewing for a long time. Billions spent on illegal immigrants, government pays ~£35k/yr to house each one in a hotel and fund it by taking away heating payments to pensioners.
@RLewisReports@dancantstream Didn't you say you had the same knowledge as Slasher? Given you also said this story absolutely wasn't what you were told, haven't you indirectly confirmed that Slasher didn't know about the leaked allegations?
@Rebel_Allianz@ShaykhSulaiman There was an attack but it's been done in a way for Israel to save face as everyone knows they did attack and Iran saves face by pretending nothing hit so there doesn't have to be a retaliation. It's all theater.
@chazm_ball He's in dire need of a damage buff. The +50HP to everyone crippled his damage breakpoints. He can't pick off stranglers anymore and the enemy knows that so they ignore Ball, meaning he can't distract. Doom still can because he has kill potential, Ball needs that too.
@zsk Backdoors can also be exploited, it's a security risk. A backdoor undermines the point of the product: privacy. It's not surprising these companies aren't going quietly, their product is built on trust with customers. If they allow a backdoor it could ruin their reputation. (3/3)
@zsk The harm that backdoors to encryption create by violating the privacy of everyday citizens is too great. Thousands more people die in car accidents than terrorist attacks, yet they want to ban encryption before something like phones self-locking in a moving vehicle.. (2/)
