That line was likely about the TO/GA and autothrottle cutting off. And it was likely a good faith question from Capt Sumeet to FO Clive; as their cockpit panel would've turned bizzare; screaming alarms n warnings as flight computers rebooted.

But if so, how did AAIB @DGCAIndia make you think it was about fuel switches?

AAIB report says: In the cockpit voice recording, one of the pilots is heard asking the other why did he cutoff. The other pilot responded that he did not do so.

So the actual line doesn't mention fuel or switches. AAIB report makes you think it's about fuel switches getting cutoff by referring "fuel" & "switches" 19 times in a 15-page report. Do read the full story!!

Based on data - plane's satellite transmissions, internal correspondence between Air India & Boeing. And the plane's engine maker's GE's own manuals that show AAIB's relight story isn't possible the way it implies. And it was FADEC initiating both relight & fuel cutoff!
