1/x: Polls keep showing that Republicans believe objectively false ideas, but have conservatives really lost their grasp on reality or have they decided to just lie about it to pollsters?

@British_Airways One of my flights got cancelled and rebooked; your email tells me I need to confirm that I accept the rebooking, but I don’t see an “accept” button anywhere when I go to your page. What should I do? Where should I go?
What I appreciate about the Democratic Party is not only the diversity of opinion, but their willingness to call each other out when something doesn’t look right.
Dem Sen. Tim Kaine calls for a briefing on the Syria strike and says they deserve to know Biden’s justification for acting “without coming to Congress.” “Offensive military action without congressional approval is not constitutional absent extraordinary circumstances,” Kaine says
“A Promised Land” continues to teach me that government work is like landing a plane on a runway you hope will be there one day, in wildly varying kinds of challenging weather, all while playing 3D chess. Results are delayed and gratification short-lived.
This just makes me so happy—the shanty, the collaboration, and the editing...*chef’s kiss*

Reading Pres. @BarackObama’s memoir, “A Promised Land”, is giving me a new perspective on the way an elected official, desiring to be a work horse for good, must manage many concurrent issues and balance ideals with “The World As It Is”. Valuable insight.
I agree with her intent (even $2000 isn’t enough for families in poverty), but the nation is at a point in this crisis on many fronts, so I’m cool with just a $1,400 “supplement” so other things can get done quicker ($15 fed minimum wage!).
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) says Dems should pass $2K on top of the $600 from December, rather than add $1,400 to get $600 to $2K.
"$2,000 means $2,000. $2,000 does not mean $1,400,″ @AOC tells us

Why are so many members of the GOP, a party that professes to stand for personal responsibility, proclaiming that we must all let bygones be bygones without holding anyone responsible for insurrection?
We were told: “Love thy neighbor as you love yourself”.
What they heard: “It’s cool to curse people in the name of the Lord. Totally loving of your neighbor...”
Lord, I hope people in that congregation realize that Christ would never condone this behavior.
A tough pill to swallow:
In the aftermath of the events and heightened emotions of this past week, we still need to remember the lessons we were taught in high school English about vetting our sources in media.
Know your source, and if you agree too hard, double check it.
All of these “Stop One-Party Rule!” ads and yard signs from R’s in GA are hypocritical coming from the party that has controlled the GA House, Senate, and Governor’s Mansion since 2005. It’s time for some change. #GAsen#GApol#GOTV
This is all a part of why I’m supporting @GeorgiaDemocrat candidates and voting for @ossoff and @ReverendWarnock in this race. Democrats can debate and compromise with each other for checks and balances—the R candidates lack substance and independence.
After all the political ads for the #GAsen race, I couldn’t tell you what the R candidates’ stances are. Both sides run negative ads, but @ossoff and @ReverendWarnock actually tell you what they’ll do. 1/
Neither GA R in the Senate runoffs has shown a willingness to negotiate or compromise, a strategy led by the monolithic modern R Party. Important debates are happening in Democratic circles, where @ossoff and @ReverendWarnock would be instrumental. 6/
